The W3 RNZIR 50th Anniversary Reunion is to be held the weekend 20 - 22 November 2020 in Wellington, based at the West End Plaza Hotel.

The weekend programme is, again, a familiar one:

Friday night - meet and greet including buffet
Saturday night - formal dinner and bar
Sunday morning - memorial service at Pukeahu National War Memorial

The reunion organising committee is Mark Binning (Mortars) and Walter Goodman (2 Platoon). Neil Ure (3 Platoon) is again reunion treasurer and Bruce Young (Mortars) will continue to manage the communications via website and email.

The reunion organisers will issue Newsletter 1 by March 2020 with further details and accommodation offers.  Newsletter 2 will be issued in July 2020 with details of costs and the registration form.  Contact details for the organisers will be included with this newsletter and registration.  Expect a final newsletter in October.

The reunion organising committee will be requesting that the 1RNZIR colours, CO and RSM attend the formal dinner.  Other special guests are being considered.  An activity for Saturday afternoon is being planned and it is hoped that we can have Veterans Affairs, especially case officers, in attendance so those who have never formally met their case officers can do so.  More details in the first newsletter.
